National Bureau of Statistics: 31 out of 41 major industries saw a rebound in growth rate from January to February compared to December of the previous year

Fu Linghui, spokesperson for the National Bureau of Statistics, chief economist, and director of the Department of Comprehensive Statistics of the National Economy, introduced that industrial production continues to accelerate. In terms of growth rate, the added value of industrial enterprises above designated size increased by 6.3% year-on-year from January to February, which was 1.1 percentage points faster than that of December last year. From the perspective of industries and products, the growth rate of most industries and products has rebounded. In January and February, 31 out of 41 major industries saw a rebound in growth rate compared to December of the previous year, with a rebound rate of 75.6%. Among the more than 600 key products monitored, more than 350 have seen a rebound in growth rate compared to December last year, with a recovery rate of nearly 60%.
