On November 2nd, Lu Fang, Chairman of Lantu Automobile, was promoted to Deputy General Manager and Standing Committee Member of the Party Committee of Dongfeng Motor Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Dongfeng Group"). This is Lu Fang's second promotion in over a year, following his promotion from General Manager to Chairman of Lantu Motors in September 2025.

In August of this year, Huang Yong, former deputy general manager and standing committee member of the Party Committee of Dongfeng Group, was transferred to become a director and deputy secretary of the Party Group of Aviation Industry Corporation of China; In September, Liu Yanhong, former director and deputy secretary of the Party Committee, was transferred to the position of standing committee member of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Party Committee.

The promotion of Lu Fang and the appointment of Wu Bilei as a director and deputy party secretary have filled the vacancies in the leadership team of Dongfeng Group.

Lu Fang is a veteran in the automotive industry. He joined FAW Volkswagen in 1999 and went from being a product department designer to becoming the head of the passive safety department; Since 2014, he has served as the Deputy Director of the Product Department of FAW Car and the Director of the Project Management Department of the Besturn Development Institute, leading the development of the Hongqi H5 and Besturn T77 complete vehicles. At the end of 2018, Lu Fang joined Dongfeng Group as the technical leader of the special project of the group's strategic planning department, leading the preparation work of Lantu Automobile. Since then, he has been leading the development of Lantu Automobile, serving as CEO, General Manager, and Chairman.

Since the launch of the brand in July 2020, Landu has successively launched Landu FREE, Landu Dreamer, Landu Light Chaser, Landu bosom friend, Landu Light Chaser L, Landu Mount Taishan and other product lineups covering SUV+MPV+cars. Landu Dreamer has always been the main sales product, occupying the top position in the new energy MPV market with more than 300000 yuan for a long time.

The year 2026 is the big year for Lando vehicles. Lando Mount Taishan Ultra, Lando Mount Taishan X8, Lando Chasing S and Lando Dreamer 9 have been launched successively. From January to October this year, Lantu Motors sold a total of 128500 vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 13%.

Compared with high-end new energy brands of central state-owned enterprises such as Avita of Changan Automobile, Haobo Automobile under GAC Group, and Zhiji Automobile incubated by SAIC, Lantu Automobile is in a relatively leading position in development.
