According to the National Bureau of Statistics on July 10th, Wei Fenghua, Director of the Rural Department of the National Bureau of Statistics, interpreted the situation of summer grain production. Wei Fenghua said that in 2026, the sown area of summer grain across the country will be basically stable, and the yield per unit area will increase steadily. The yield of summer grain will reach 301.49 billion jin, exceeding 300 billion jin for the first time, an increase of 2 billion jin or 0.7% over the previous year.
