Currently, geopolitical conflicts, trade frictions, and supply chain restructuring are intertwined, and the logic of global economic development is shifting towards a balance between security and efficiency. It is urgent to use openness to gather consensus, cooperation to solve difficulties, and inclusiveness to eliminate differences. 'Openness' refers to promoting institutional openness in finance and optimizing the cross-border investment and financing environment; Cooperation "means strengthening dialogue and communication, and carrying out extensive collaboration; 'Inclusiveness' means respecting the diversity of development paths and seeking the greatest common denominator. The aim of "jointly building a new ecosystem for global financial development" is to promote the global financial system from fragmentation to systematization, and from zero sum games to symbiosis and prosperity.

It is reported that the 2026 Financial Street Forum Annual Meeting adopts the activity framework of "main forum (including opening and closing ceremonies)+parallel forum+special conference+supporting activities", and plans to hold a total of 21 topic activities for the main forum and parallel forum, as well as 3 special conferences for financial technology, insurance, and investment.

The State Administration of Financial Regulation will continue to include its international advisory committee meetings in the framework of the forum's annual meeting to discuss financial risks and regulatory related issues.

The parallel forum continues to adhere to the concept of "open door meetings", closely focusing on major strategic concerns of the central and national governments, and organizing and designing topics around two directions: "high-level financial opening up to the outside world" and "financial support for high-quality economic development".
