Three households and two houses were damaged, and three households and five people successfully evacuated without casualties.
At 18:30 on June 21st, the office of the Geological Disaster Prevention and Control Command of the High tech Zone issued a geological disaster risk warning and urged townships (streets) to strengthen patrols, inspections, and risk avoidance transfers. At around 15:00 on June 23, Li Fangwen, a resident of Group 7 in Yaodianzi Community, Yaotang Township, discovered scattered rockfalls and water seepage at the bottom of the courtyard dam retaining wall on the slope behind his house during his inspection. He immediately reported to the township government.
After receiving the report of the dangerous situation, the township government immediately organized village cadres to verify on site and quickly activated the contingency plan. They organized the evacuation of all 6 people from 4 households who were threatened at home and implemented resettlement control measures. At 8:28 am on June 24th, a landslide occurred in Wujiawan, Group 7 of Yaodianzi Community. Due to timely warning, thorough inspection, rapid response, and decisive disposal, the possible casualties of 3 households and 5 people were avoided, achieving successful risk avoidance.
