The 3rd Siming Insurance Forum and the 2026 Academic Annual Meeting of the China Insurance Society, jointly hosted by the Ningbo Municipal People's Government and the China Insurance Society, will be held in Ningbo on October 15th. As one of the theme events of the 3rd Siming Insurance Forum, the "Putting People First, Promoting High Quality Development of Health Insurance" theme event is organized by China Life Insurance Co., Ltd. and will be held on the afternoon of October 15th at the Pan Pacific Hotel in Ningbo.

As a national insurance industry forum, the third Siming Insurance Forum and the 2026 Academic Annual Meeting of the Insurance Society of China will focus on the "Tenth Five Year Plan" construction blueprint, deepen insurance reform and innovation, and serve the overall development strategy of the country "as the theme, based on the experience and advantages of the construction of Ningbo National Insurance Innovation Comprehensive Pilot Zone, and provide solid support for Chinese path to modernization with high-quality insurance development.

Currently, the trend of population aging continues to evolve, and the people's demand for health security is becoming more diverse. The position of health insurance in the multi-level social security system is increasingly prominent. As a national insurance innovation comprehensive experimental zone, Ningbo has many innovative practices in health insurance product innovation, service model exploration, and regulatory policy pilot. The Ningbo long-term care insurance has covered 8.46 million insured persons in the city, benefiting a total of 53000 severely disabled persons, and building a mature model of "comprehensive, professional, and digital". China Life Ningbo Branch cooperates with the medical insurance department to provide long-term care insurance handling services in Fenghua, Ninghai, and Xiangshan districts. The number of insured people in "Tianyi Yongning Insurance" has remained stable at over 3 million for several consecutive years, and reforms such as one-stop settlement for medical insurance and commercial insurance have been steadily promoted. These explorations provide a fresh "Ningbo sample".

The theme forum of "Putting People First, Promoting High Quality Development of Health Insurance" will be based on the leading advantages of Ningbo Insurance Innovation Pilot Zone, focusing on the implementation of the strategy of serving a healthy China, adhering to the principle of putting people first, focusing on the high-quality development of commercial health insurance, exploring the integrated development path of "insurance+service+technology", and better playing the role of health insurance in safeguarding people's livelihood.
