On September 21st, Caixin News Agency reported that the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, together with the Supreme People's Court, the Supreme People's Procuratorate, the Ministry of Public Security, and the State Administration for Market Regulation, recently issued the "Notice on Continuously Strengthening the Supervision of Ecological Environment Technical Service Institutions and Deepening the Rectification of Fraud Issues" (hereinafter referred to as the "Notice"), further cracking down on data fraud by ecological environment monitoring and other technical service institutions, strengthening normalized supervision, continuously regulating market order, and helping to build a beautiful China. The Notice emphasizes the need to adhere to problem orientation, prioritize technical prevention, strengthen technological empowerment and source control; Adhere to precise governance, regular rectification, and improve long-term regulatory mechanisms; Adhere to collaborative linkage and cohesion, strengthen cross regional and cross departmental collaboration; Adhere to law-abiding guidance, balance leniency and strictness, severely punish malicious violations, and strengthen law-abiding assistance and guidance for minor violators.
