The National Oceanic Forecasting Station has issued a red wave warning and an orange storm surge warning.

On the evening of the 10th, it was learned from the National Marine Environment Forecasting Center that from the afternoon of the 10th to the afternoon of the 11th, there will be waves of 9 to 14 meters in the southern part of the East China Sea and waves of 4 to 6 meters in the northern part of the East China Sea and the Taiwan Strait. The wave warning level for nearshore waters will be red; There will be waves ranging from 5 to 8 meters in the coastal areas of northern Zhejiang and Fujian, and the wave warning level for this coastal area is red. There will be waves ranging from 3 to 4.5 meters in the coastal areas of Shanghai, and the wave warning level for this coastal area is orange. There will be waves ranging from 3 to 4 meters in the coastal areas of southern Fujian, and the wave warning level for this coastal area is yellow. There will be waves ranging from 2 to 3 meters in the coastal areas of southern Jiangsu, and the wave warning level for this coastal area is blue.

In terms of storm surges, it is expected that from the night of July 10th to the evening of July 11th, there will be a storm surge of 50 to 120 centimeters along the coast from Nantong, Jiangsu to Ningbo, Zhejiang, a storm surge of 100 to 200 centimeters along the coast from Taizhou, Zhejiang to Wenzhou, and a storm surge of 70 to 150 centimeters along the coast of Fujian. The storm surge warning level for Wenzhou City in Zhejiang Province is orange, the storm surge warning level for Fuzhou City in Fujian Province is yellow, and the storm surge warning levels for Zhoushan City, Ningbo City, Taizhou City in Zhejiang Province, and Ningde City in Fujian Province are blue.

The impact of this typhoon occurred over the weekend, and the National Marine Forecasting Center reminded the affected coastal areas to stop all water entertainment activities. Relevant coastal units should take measures to prevent and avoid waves in advance, do a good job in emergency rescue work to defend against storm surges, organize various ships to return to port for shelter, reinforce coastal fishery and aquaculture facilities and fishing port facilities, and evacuate relevant offshore operators in a timely manner; Close the beaches and amusement facilities in dangerous coastal areas, and prohibit personnel from playing at the seaside; Strengthen the inspection of coastal seawalls, water gates and other facilities, and promptly reinforce and eliminate risks in weak and dangerous areas.

According to the emergency plan for marine disasters, the Ministry of Natural Resources raised the emergency response level for marine disasters in Zhejiang and Fujian to level two on the 10th, and launched a level four emergency response for marine disasters in Shanghai.
