Economic Observation Network According to CCTV News, on October 11th, Xishan District, Kunming City issued a notice stating that at around 16:20 on October 11th, 2026, a sudden landslide occurred at K1+200, from Chejiabi to Yingpanshan Road, Biji Street, Xishan District, Kunming City, causing 12 parked vehicles (with no passengers on board) and 3 vehicles in motion to be trapped and road traffic to be interrupted. No casualties were found during on-site search and rescue, and surrounding residents have been relocated to safe areas for proper resettlement. On site rescue, road repair, and investigation and disposal work are currently underway.
