According to the latest forecast from the Central Meteorological Observatory, "Bawei" is gradually approaching the coast of Zhejiang and Fujian, and will make landfall along the coast from Wenling, Zhejiang to Xiapu, Fujian in the early morning of the 12th (strong typhoon or typhoon level). After landing, it will move northwestward and gradually weaken in intensity.

The wind and rain brought by "Bawei" this weekend will significantly intensify, with rainfall mainly consisting of bulk rainfall and long-distance transportation rainfall. The Central Meteorological Observatory predicts that in the next three days, due to the combined impact of the southwest monsoon and typhoon "Bawei", there will be heavy to rainstorm in Taiwan Island, East China, the north central part of North China, Northeast China, and the eastern part of Northwest China, heavy rainstorm in some regions, and local extremely heavy rainstorm, of which the cumulative rainfall in southeast Zhejiang and northeast Fujian will be 500 to 600 mm, and that in Taiwan Island can exceed 1000 mm; Locally in the northeast of Beijing and Hebei, it can reach 300-350 millimeters.

In terms of temperature, due to the dual control of subtropical high pressure and the sinking airflow outside the "Bawei" area, many places outside the rainfall areas in central and eastern China have entered a mode of high temperature and stuffiness. Today, the high temperature range reached the peak of this round, with temperatures in large areas from the Huang Huai region to northern South China hitting a new high this year, and most of them were hot and humid, with perceived temperatures far exceeding actual temperatures.

In the next few days, with the increase of rainfall, the high temperature range in the eastern coastal areas will slightly shrink.
