IFlytek wins first prize of National Science and Technology Progress Award again

On July 8, the National Science and Technology Award Conference, the 22nd Academician Conference of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the 18th Academician Conference of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, and the 11th National Congress of the Chinese Association for Science and Technology were held in the Great Hall of the People in Beijing.

At the meeting, the results of the 2025 National Science and Technology Award selection were officially announced. Led by Pengcheng Laboratory and jointly completed by Huawei, Peking University, Tsinghua University, iFlytek and other unitsThe 'Pengcheng Cloud Brain' large-scale domestically produced intelligent computing power system and industrialization project has won the first prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award.This project is a major fundamental innovation in the field of domestically produced and controllable intelligent computing, marking a significant breakthrough in the development of domestically produced intelligent computing power systems in China. As one of the project completion units, iFlytek deeply participated in the project construction.

The "Pengcheng Cloud Brain" project team has focused on tackling key issues and successfully broken through the ultra large scale intelligent computing architecture and key technologies based on domestic AI chips. They have developed the first fully independent and controllable E-level intelligent computing platform in China, "Pengcheng Cloud Brain II", and built a full chain intelligent computing basic software stack. This is a milestone achievement for China in the global competition of artificial intelligence. In the project breakthrough, iFlytek focuses on conducting research on large-scale parallel training methods based on domestic computing power, promoting the transformation of domestic intelligent computing power systems from technological breakthroughs to large-scale applications, demonstratingBuilding large-scale computing platforms, adapting and applying domestic computing power, and constructing artificial intelligence engineering systemsTechnological breakthrough capabilities in various aspects. Relying on relevant technological accumulation, iFlytek has since led the construction ofFeixing-1 and Feixing-2A domestically produced ultra large scale intelligent computing platform, aimed at the needs of large-scale model training, inference, and industrialization landing, continuously consolidates the foundation of domestic computing power, and promotes the coordinated development of domestic computing power, large-scale model training platforms, and artificial intelligence industry ecology.

It is worth mentioning that in June 2024, iFlytek, as the first unit to complete the application for "Key Technologies and Industrialization of Multilingual Intelligent Voice", won the first prize of the 2023 National Science and Technology Progress Award. The award of the "Pengcheng Cloud Brain" project is the first time that iFlytek has won the National Science and Technology Progress Award after two years. It is also the second prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award in 2002 and 2011, and the first prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award in 2023,Received the National Science and Technology Progress Award for the fourth time.
