The center of Typhoon Bawei (super typhoon level), the 9th typhoon of this year, was located on the ocean surface about 1580 kilometers southeast of Keelung City, Taiwan at 8 o'clock this morning (8th), at latitude 16.9 degrees north and longitude 134.1 degrees east. The maximum wind force near the center was above level 17 (62 meters/second), the minimum pressure at the center was 915 hectopascals, the radius of the 7th level wind circle was 350-500 kilometers, the radius of the 10th level wind circle was 280-300 kilometers, and the radius of the 12th level wind circle was 100-150 kilometers.

It is expected that "Bawei" will move at a speed of 15-20 kilometers per hour towards the west and turn northwest, gradually approaching the northeast coast of Taiwan Island. Its intensity will be maintained for the first time and gradually weaken from the 9th.
