Olivier Onral, Director of the French National Centre for Film and Animation, stated that France and China are facing similar challenges such as changes in communication methods, the rise of platforms, and competition in digital content. According to the organizers, since its establishment in 2011, the France China Film Festival has screened over a hundred Chinese films, covering more than 250000 French audiences. This year's film festival is jointly organized by the National Film Administration of China, the Paris Chinese Cultural Center, and the French Bai Dai Film Group, and co organized by institutions such as the China Film Archive, the China Film Museum, and the Bai Dai Foundation.
