Economic Observation Network According to CCTV, in early summer, wheat growth in Yuncheng City, Shanxi Province enters the grain filling stage from the flowering stage, which is the core window period for disease and pest control and yield formation. At present, Linyi County in Yuncheng City has launched a full coverage operation of "one spray and three prevention" for wheat.

At a wheat planting base in Linyi County, Yuncheng City, Shanxi Province, three crop protection drones are accurately spraying according to the planned route. This method not only achieves "zero contact" and "full coverage", but also evenly sprays insecticides, fungicides, and foliar fertilizers on the wheat ears, stems, and leaves, effectively preventing diseases, pests, dry hot winds, premature aging, increasing grain weight, and significantly reducing labor intensity.

This year, the local Agriculture and Rural Bureau coordinated the deployment of 8 professional aerial defense teams and 119 crop protection drones to carry out unified defense and control of wheat fields in 14 townships throughout the county. In addition, four technical supervision teams have been established in the local area to organize agricultural technicians to go deep into the fields to check the wheat situation. Throughout the process, they closely monitor key operational links such as the dosage per mu, flight speed, and spraying uniformity of drones, strictly control the quality of prevention and control, and ensure precise and efficient prevention and control work. At present, the "one spray and three prevention" operation in Linyi County is progressing smoothly, and it is expected to complete the spraying and prevention of 269700 acres of wheat in the county by mid May. At present, the overall growth of local summer grain is improving, and it is expected to usher in a bumper harvest season around June.

Anhui Taihe: Beidou unmanned aerial vehicle deployed to improve the quality and efficiency of wheat field management

At present, it is a critical period for winter wheat field management. Taihe County, Fuyang City, Anhui Province, is seizing the opportunity to organize more than 500 new crop protection drones equipped with Beidou navigation to carry out the "one spray, three prevention" unified prevention and control operation, ensuring the stable production and income increase of 1.52 million mu of winter wheat.

In a high-yield demonstration field in Erlang Town, Taihe County, Fuyang City, Anhui Province, four new crop protection drones are flying along the planned route to carry out "one spray, three prevention" operations. These crop protection drones have advantages such as centimeter level positioning, precise quantity and height control, autonomous route planning, and automatic obstacle avoidance.

This year, based on the implementation of the agricultural machinery purchase subsidy policy, the local government will provide an average operation bonus of about 4.5 yuan per mu for intelligent aerial defense equipment equipped with the Beidou navigation system, and offer free training to encourage farmers and cooperatives to introduce intelligent aerial defense equipment. At the same time, more than 290 agricultural technicians were organized to go deep into the front line, guiding farmers to implement policies based on local conditions and seedlings, strengthening the prevention and control of major wheat diseases and pests, especially wheat scab, and promoting stable and increased wheat production.

Ningde, Fujian: New Techniques for Seedling Throwing and Field Rail Farming in Mountainous Areas

The fields are filled with busy agricultural machinery, and the hills and mountains are also well prepared. Recently, farmers in Jiaocheng District, Ningde City, Fujian Province are carrying out standardized seedling cultivation for mid season rice. In response to the situation of scattered fields, inconvenient transportation, and difficulty in using large agricultural machinery, the local government has promoted seedling throwing technology and improved operational efficiency through the use of "field tracks".

In Houxi Village, Jiaocheng District, Ningde City, Fujian Province, farmers are busy with rice seedling cultivation work. The grid shaped seedling tray is specially designed for seedling throwing, with each hole of uniform size, providing independent growth space for the root system of seedlings. When transplanting rice seedlings, farmers will scatter grid after grid of soil covered seedlings into the field, greatly reducing labor intensity.

It is understood that more than 60% of the cultivated land in Jiaocheng District is mountainous ridge land, which is distributed in valleys between mountains. The plots are scattered, small in size, and steep in slope, making it difficult for some small agricultural machinery to enter. The transportation of agricultural materials and grain often relies on manual handling. To solve this problem, the local area has laid "field tracks" according to the mountainous terrain, and rail transport planes have been put into operation, which has cleared the "transportation obstruction" for agricultural production in mountainous areas. At present, the local seedling cultivation work has entered its final stage, and it is expected to enter the mid season rice transplanting stage in 15 days.
