Jike stated in the situation statement that after preliminary verification, the vehicle involved had recently experienced a serious collision accident, and after the accident, it was not inspected and repaired by the brand's authorized service center. Jike did not further clarify whether this overheating event is directly related to the previous collision.

According to previous media reports, on the morning of August 9th, a public charging station opposite Haixi Mingyue Community in Haishu District, Ningbo, Zhejiang Province, caught fire while charging a Jike 7X. From the on-site video, it appears that there was a clear fire in the vehicle, which was subsequently extinguished.

Jike stated that they are currently cooperating with the fire and related departments to conduct on-site inspections and investigations into the cause of the accident. The specific reasons will be subject to the final investigation conclusions of the relevant departments.
