The new photovoltaic regulations have not yet been implemented, and some components have already exited the competition for large orders

On January 1, 2027, the new national standard GB47834-2026 for energy efficiency of photovoltaic modules will be officially implemented, and modules entering the domestic market must meet the new energy efficiency requirements. Currently, less than three months have passed since implementation, and industry adjustments have been initiated. Some buyers adjusted their procurement standards in advance. The bidding announcement issued by Huadian clearly required that the conversion efficiency of components should not be less than 23.2%. The leading manufacturer has withdrawn the inefficient old PERC components from the bidding of central enterprises. At the same time, manufacturers are gradually transforming their production lines, with some inefficient production lines shrinking domestic shipments. Various links in the industry chain are re matching production capacity and orders around new thresholds.
