McDonald's launches $100 billion commercial media strategy: catering scene is becoming the core battlefield of the new generation of advertising
On September 23rd, McDonald's announced the establishment of a media network at its investor conference, integrating touchpoints such as apps and self-service terminals to open advertising resources. Currently, 450 US stores have been piloted, with an initial target of $1 billion in revenue. Relying on the daily passenger flow of more than 70 million and the data of 220 million members, the company transformed the end of the transaction into the starting point of advertising, and together with Wal Mart and other consumer enterprises, it explored a new advertising path under the high-frequency consumption scenario.
