On September 28th, Li Xiang, CEO of Ideal Automobile, wrote a long article discussing the relationship between "self-developed" and "de Ningde". He said that the self-developed Ideal Automobile is not about "de XXization", nor is it about confronting suppliers. The concept of 'de XXization' is a zero sum game mentality, which Ideal Automobile has never used to define its self-developed strategy. Li Xiang said that since Ningde Times has such a good partner, there are three reasons why it still insists on deep self-developed batteries: first, to make the user experience lead the industry standards, and to first meet the unmet needs; Secondly, make batteries a part of smart cars, achieving a leap in the overall vehicle experience of "1+1>2". Thirdly, the integration of data throughout the entire lifecycle eliminates the need for users to pay for the division of labor in the industry chain. Recently, Ideal Automobile announced that it will gradually switch all models to self-developed batteries in cooperation with Xinwangda. Currently, L8, L6, and i8 have been equipped and will cover all models in the future.
