On September 3rd, the Poly World Trade Center Expo in Guangzhou officially opened with an exhibition hall of approximately 60000 square meters. The three-day SIAL International Food Exhibition (Guangzhou) officially kicked off. This exhibition has gathered over 1500 participating companies and more than 65000 professional visitors. The exhibition has 14 themed areas including imported food, fresh and frozen meat, with exhibitors concentrated in the upstream of the supply chain. The overseas exhibition lineup is diverse, with Southeast Asian countries becoming the main force in the international sector. RCEP member countries such as Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Vietnam showcase their advantageous industrial achievements in deep processing of tropical agricultural products, halal compliant food, pre made fast food, and specialty leisure snacks. Multiple countries have set up national pavilions and halal themed pavilions to export mature fast-moving consumer goods and industrial raw materials products that have been verified by the market. This exhibition also continues the Match Me supply and demand matching service, which focuses on business matching throughout the year. The process involves collecting procurement needs in advance, accurately matching exhibitors, and conducting one-on-one negotiations on-site.
