The owner of Xiaopeng, who ran a red light under the "smart driving" mode, was deducted 6 points and directly complained. After sales: The first person responsible for intelligent assisted driving is the driver

Recently, Mr. Li, the owner of the MONA M03 in Xiaopeng, Fuzhou, Fujian, reported that while driving in NGP (Intelligent Navigation Assisted Driving) mode, the vehicle did not recognize the red light and passed directly, resulting in a penalty of 6 points deducted and a fine for running the red light. Mr. Li, while feeling frustrated and careless, also questioned whether Xiaopeng Motors' "smart driving" model was not as expected. Regarding this, the after-sales staff of Xiaopeng Motors stated that the NGP of the vehicle belongs to L2 level intelligent assisted driving and is not equivalent to autonomous driving. The first person responsible for intelligent assisted driving will always be the driver. Regarding the doubts raised by the car owner, the staff of Xiaopeng Motors' public relations department also sent an email reply, stating that "it is suspected that the traffic signal lights occasionally change from green to red, and at the same time, the right front truck blocks the camera, causing the assisted driving system to fail to slow down in a timely manner", and promised that "the company will continue to optimize the corresponding scene in the future".
