China's flexible employment population has exceeded 200 million, accounting for nearly 30% of the total employed population. The state is taking measures such as canceling the registered residence registration limit for insurance, expanding the coverage of work-related injury and unemployment insurance, and piloting the compulsory rest mechanism to build a rights and interests protection system suitable for new employment patterns, and strive to achieve a balance between flexibility and security.
