Recently, the Baotou Federation of Trade Unions in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region visited Baotou Light Industry Vocational and Technical College and Baotou Public Transport Group to organize two "Bookish Fragrance Runs Craftsmanship, Reading Empowers New Energy" employee reading sharing activities.

At Baotou Light Industry Vocational College, Wang Bin, the model worker of the autonomous region, read out the "scholarly Baotou" nationwide reading proposal, calling on young students to adhere to daily reading and cultivate their ideals and beliefs in the scholarly atmosphere. In the interactive communication session, Lu Renfeng, a skilled craftsman from a major country, combined his own experience of perseverance and decades of hard work in the military welding front line to carefully answer students' questions about career development, technical breakthroughs, and adherence to the original intention. He vividly interpreted the craftsman spirit of pursuing perfection and striving for excellence with real stories of struggle. At the same time, a book donation activity was carried out on site. Lu Renfeng presented his personal biography "Lu Renfeng: the one handed welder who forged the 'sword' for the country" to the school, model worker Wang Bin donated theoretical study books, and Baotou Xinhua Bookstore distributed book purchase cards to young students.

The Baotou Public Transport Group's special event innovates the form of ideological and political propaganda, inviting He Xiang from Baotou Normal University to teach the characteristic ideological and political course of "Iron Flowers and Pastoral Songs". Taking music appreciation as the starting point, it integrates Baotou's industrial heritage, grassland folk customs, and Yellow River culture, and incorporates stories of national unity, industrial struggle, and urban development into an immersive employee ideological guidance classroom. The participating employees expressed that the ideological and political classroom, which combines reading and sharing with music appreciation, is novel, vivid, and highly infectious. In the future, it will transform the learning gains into practical actions to serve the citizens, root in the job, and strive for excellence.

The two activities are innovative practices of the Baotou Federation of Trade Unions in coordinating and integrating three key tasks: "Bookish Fragrance Full Baotou" national reading, "Walking Ideological and Political Education · Workers' Speeches" staff ideological and political small classroom, and "Five Entries" preaching for model workers and craftsmen.

This year, Baotou City plans to carry out more than 100 themed reading activities for employees, continue to explore various forms of ideological and political guidance small classrooms, promote the "Five Entries" of model workers and craftsmen to enterprises, government agencies, campuses, party schools, and communities (rural areas), build a normalized ideological and political guidance system for employees, unite and mobilize all employees in the city to work hard and contribute their labor force to the high-quality development of Baotou.
