Lantu imitates Zero Run and leverages Stellantis to expand into the European market

Recently, Dongfeng Group announced the signing of a non binding memorandum of understanding with Stellantis Group. According to the agreement, both parties intend to establish a joint venture in Europe and are exploring the possibility of the joint venture being responsible for the sales and distribution of Lantu Motors in the designated European market. This cooperation is an important move in Lantu Automotive's globalization strategy In April 2026, Lantu released three major actions: "deepening cultivation in Europe, laying out in the Middle East, and entering the right-hand drive market". It plans to launch the Lantu Dreamer right-hand drive version in the second half of 2026 to accelerate its globalization strategy. Lantu Motors' move is similar to Zero Run Motors' leveraging to go global. In May 2024, Zero Run Automobile has established Zero Run International with Stellantis Group overseas, engaged in product production and sales outside of Greater China. By 2025, Zero Run Motors will achieve overseas sales of over 67000 vehicles.
