The "Electric Jetta" has officially landed as a mass-produced car, concept car, and a new platform. The logo and design plan have been updated, and four first models will be launched in the second half of the year
Jetta's new energy products have officially landed. During the Beijing Auto Show, Jetta released its first mass-produced electric vehicle - the pure electric sedan Jetta M6, the square box shaped concept car JETTA X, a newly designed new energy vehicle logo, and a new design language - "Modern Robust", announcing the arrival of the "Electric Jetta Era". The new car was born on Jetta's independently developed "Jetta Architecture", which is similar to Volkswagen's locally developed CEA electronic and electrical architecture, which was first built on the FAW Volkswagen IDOn AURA T6. The "Jiesi Architecture" supports functions such as intelligent AI cockpit, city assisted driving, and vehicle OTA. The development of Jetta's new energy vehicle series is undertaken by FAW Volkswagen Jetta Automotive Technology (Sichuan) Co., Ltd., which was established last year. The research and development team comes from the former FAW Volkswagen and Volkswagen Germany. Jetta has simultaneously announced its strategic plan, with a sales target of 400000 to 500000 vehicles by 2030, and a new car rhythm of "four new cars in two years". The Jetta M6 will be launched in the second half of this year, and next year it will also introduce a pure electric SUV and a plug-in hybrid SUV. At the same time, Jetta will expand its sales network to over 600 locations, and in terms of overseas markets, Jetta will expand into Central Asia and Africa.
