Did humans lose? The humanoid robot Half Horse won the championship with 50 points, and behind it is the ultimate test before mass production

On April 19th, 2026, the Beijing Yizhuang Humanoid Robot Half Marathon began, with over 100 teams from 11 provinces participating. According to incomplete statistics, the robot products in the competition include Yushu H1, Tiangong 1.0Ultra, Lightning, Songyan Power B2, Booster T2, Mount Taishan Walker, etc. Honor "Lightning" won the championship with a time of 50 minutes and 26 seconds, far exceeding last year's championship record (2 hours and 40 minutes) and surpassing the human half marathon world record. The robot is equipped with self-developed liquid cooled cooling, integrated joint module (peak torque of 400 Nm), and full stack operation control algorithm, with a range of over 10 kilometers and only one battery change throughout the entire journey. Manufacturers are enthusiastic about this move because the marathon is an extreme stress test for motion control, endurance cooling, and system reliability, aimed at mass production and commercialization. During the competition, the search volume of JD's "embodied intelligent robots" surged by over 300%, and the sales of brands such as Yushu and Tiangong doubled. China CITIC Securities stated that the mass production of humanoid robots will begin in 2026.
