The China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAC) has released the "Account Period Standardization Initiative", and multiple car companies have expressed their support

On September 15th, the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM) released the "Initiative for Payment Standards for Suppliers of Automobile Vehicles", proposing that vehicle manufacturers should complete the acceptance of goods in a timely manner after receiving them (generally within 3 working days), and issue an acceptance certificate upon passing the acceptance. The payment period for the whole vehicle enterprise shall be calculated from the date of delivery by the supplier enterprise and acceptance by Party A, and shall not exceed 60 natural days. After the issuance of the "Initiative", several automobile companies including Dongfeng, SAIC, Chery, Serys, Ideal, Changan, GAC, BYD, etc. issued statements stating that they will actively implement the account payment initiative.
